Our Lab

Welcome to the VertEco Lab!  We are a research group from the Laboratory of Environmental Sciences, at the Center for Biosciences and Biotechnology (CBB) of the Universidade Estadual do Norte Fluminense Darcy Ribeiro (UENF). 

 

Our research is focused on the ecology, conservation, and natural history of small terrestrial tetrapods, especially small non-flying mammals, but also includes amphibians and reptiles. We also have a popularization of science project called Mastocafé, where we create educational content for social media (Instagram and Twitter).
